Jakarta Fair 2012 - Go My Jakarta ~ Awesome Indonesia

Celebrating its 485^th anniversary this year, Indonesia’s capital city Jakarta will again hold its annual mega exhibition and entertainment show for one full month. Jakarta Fair 2012 will take place at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center,Kemayoran, from 14 June to 15 July 2012. This year, this biggest, longest, most elaborate fair in Indonesia takes on the theme “Go My Jakarta” to express the will to continuously improve Jakarta as showcase for Indonesia.

Jakarta Fair 2012 will feature pavilions from provincial governments, corporations, and small and medium scale enterprises. This year, there will be approximately 2,750 businesses from 27 provinces participating in the event. Various top products from all scales of business will fill booths and pavilions at the sprawling Jakarta International Exhibition Center at Kemayoran.

The fair will also be enhanced with various art performances to entertain visitors, ranging from musical shows, the Miss Jakarta Fair Beauty Pageant, Carnivals, and many others. Spectacular musical performances will be staged daily from 14 June to 21 June, featuring some of Indonesia’s renowned musical celebrities such as Sm*sh, Ari Lasso, Endah n Rhesa, Iwan Fals, Pas Band, J-Rocks, d’Masiv, Utopia, Afgan, Cherybelle, Super Girlies, Tony Q, Ras Muhammad, and more. Another highlight will be the finals of Miss Jakarta Fair 2012 pageant that will be held on Friday, 13 July 2012. There will of course be all kinds of restaurants and food stalls available to satisfy hungry and thirsty visitors.

The Jakarta Fair 2012 will be open daily to the public, Mondays to Fridays from 15.30 to 22.00 Western Indonesia Time, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 to 23.00 Western Indonesia Time.

As the largest fair held annually in Indonesia, the Jakarta Fair 2012 is truly something that you can not afford to miss.
